The Miller Lite Beer Pager is the hi-tech, low-headache way to plan your very own Miller Times. Using the internet, it serves as a meeting planner and organizer, remembering your friends and favorite hang outs within its online database. It lets you coordinate Miller Times with anyone else who has a Beer Pager, no matter where they may be.

The Miller Lite Beer Pager is free, kind of like love in the 60's.
3. System requirements

If you have a PC, you will need Windows '95/98/NT, at least 12 megs of free hard drive space, and internet access.
If you have a Mac, you will need at least OS 7.6.1., at least 12.5 megs of free hard disk space, and internet access.
For best results your monitor should be running in 16-bit (thousands of) color.
4. Installation

If you're reading this, the Beer Pager is ready to go. Just double-click on the Beer Pager icon.
5. Proxy issues
-------------------------------------------
If you're accessing the internet from behind a proxy server, results of using the Beer Pager may vary. Please read the following:
If you're a Windows user running a copy of Microsoft Internet Explorer that's already configured to work behind your proxy, the Beer Pager will automatically detect your settings and adjust itself.
For all other users behind a proxy, hold down the "SHIFT" key when you start the Beer Pager. A pop-up window will appear, prompting you to enter the name of your proxy server. If that does the trick, the Beer Pager will remember your settings so you don't have to enter them every time.
Users behind authenticating proxy servers (that ask you for a username and password) are not yet supported but will be in a future version due out in mid to late December.
